True, the touch-screen on iPhone would be a very cool way to get the page turning sensation that the Reader surely lacks. The trade-off is, of course, the screen size compared to a paper book, but then again it wouldn't really be a dedicated ebook reader anyway, so maybe that's a moot point.

Really, reading books would be just another cool feature on the iPhone. Now to get my hands on one...

Oh, and you're welcome :)

It could do what people griped about the Sony Reader not being able to do: let a reader really *flick* from page to page, by touching the virtual page on-screen and "turning" it with a finger swipe. Sort of the way photos are maneuvered through on the iPhone.

BTW, since it has a 320x480 screen like a Palm Tungsten T3, TX, and LifeDrive, it could do pretty gorgeous stuff. You just know Jobs would give the font styles a special touch.

Thanks for the link!

Yes, the reader could progressively scroll through the document displaying text with user specified speed and font size. By eliminating the need to position text in window or turn pages, would simplify the reading of all kinds of text not just ebooks. Could also double as teleprompter.
